2007 THE SOLO SHOW AT THE MADRE IN NAPLES

Curated by Germano Celant and featuring more than 200 works by Piero and other artists of his era, this was the first major solo show after the publication of the latest general catalogue; the exhibition also featured extensive documentation. A catalogue in two versions (Italian and English) was published by Electa.  Along with the transcriptions of the programmatic manifestos and Manzoni’s writings, there were critical texts by Eduardo Cicelyn, Germano Celant, Borys Groys, Alberto Abruzzese and Elio Grazioli.
