2013 MARKING PIERO’S ANNIVERSARIES

On the 6 of February, exactly 50 years after the death of the artist, the Manzoni Foundation organized an evening at Open Care / Frigoriferi Milanesi during which all the projects scheduled throughout the year were presented. Speaking at the event were, among others, Andrea Bettinetti, Agostino Bonalumi, Flaminio Gualdoni, Martin Engler, Gaspare Luigi Marcone and representatives of the Manzoni Foundation. A very special dinner was to follow: Bianco Mangiare (Eating White) during which exclusively achromatic delicacies were served.

The Foundation also produced a gadget in 9 thousand examples paying tribute to the iconic Artist’s Shit and collaborated on the solo show Piero Manzoni. When bodies became art at the Städel Museum in Frankfurt, curated by Martin Engler.
