1967 CELANT AND MANZONI

The publisher Vanni Scheiwiller issued a first monograph on Piero Manzoni edited by Uliano Lucas.
The first essay in Italian on the artist by Germano Celant was published under the title “C’è solo da essere”.

Celant’s text appeared in Notizie. Supplemento dedicato a Piero Manzoni, published by the Galleria Notizie of Turin, with reference made to the “fine book published by Scheiwiller” which inspired a more attentive critical review of the artist’s work. Photographs of Socle du monde and other works realised in Denmark were published for the first time.
