2020 NEW CONTRIBUTIONS

The scientific publication Science and Art. The Contemporary Painted Surface edited by Antonio Sgamellotti, Brunetto Giovanni Brunetti and Costanza Miliani, featured an article on the studies of the chemical-physical properties of the materials used in Manzoni’s Achromes written by Luca Bochicchio and Luisa Mensi, with coordination by Rosalia Pasqualino di Marineo.

The youthful article by Piero Manzoni “L’Economia del Carnefice” was published in the magazine Gioventù Sociale for which the artist wrote during his time at the Leone XIII High School. The journal was the voice of a Catholic group committed to social projects and the text was reprinted in a book published as a limited edition by De Piante Editore, with an original dust cover created by the contemporary artist Aldo Spinelli.
